BASADZI VOICES - VOLUME 2

Some 10 years ago, I embarked on a dream project aimed at giving a platform and voice to young black South African women. In 2006, this culminated in a collection of literary works by young black South African women. Basadzi Voices featured works by some young, brave, honest and beautiful women - it was published by UKZN Press (headed by the late Glenn Cowley) and launched at the Poetry Africa international festival.

I am excited to be part of a team to give this space yet again - Basadzi Voices Volume 2. The time has come... For more information, for contributions to the collection, please contact me: mokhosis@ukzn.ac.za or 072 8968 191. Basadzi Rising!!!
