YOUNG BASADZI - Press Release
YOUNG BASADZI EXPRESS FORUM
Young Basadzi Projects is proud to host the first session of the many to come - "Thursday Fever" is in the air!
Women are invited to come together to share, showcase, develop and celebrate their works in written expressions. This exciting venture by Young Basadzi Projects is yet another effort in providing a platform where women are able to share their thoughts and ideas, communicate their frustrations and pains, dream their goals and future whilst putting it down onto paper… into spoken word.
The possibilities are endless, and we urge all women to join us in this revolutionary journey that sees women, from all walks of life expressing themselves in every (literary) way we know how.
We would like to thank the BatCentre immensely for allowing us the space. I strongly believe that being home to the arts in Durban, this is a critical step that will see us all celebrating the arts whilst empowering women writers of our times.
Every Thursday, join us for the interactive and mind-blowing experience we have yet to explore!
Times: 4:30pm - 7:00pm
Venue: Functions Room, BatCentre - 45 Maritime Place, Small Craft Harbour
Programme Manager: Rose Mokhosi & Sindisiwe Mkhize
Any further queries, please do not hesitate to contact us on 072 8968 191. For more information and regular updates, please visit our weblog - http://youngbasadzi.blogspot.com.
